No, I haven’t disappeared ! Just the usual spacey me Since May I have hardly had a chance to sit down and do anything, let alone sit down in front of my laptop for any length of time. In May we played dates in Australia, the most exciting being those with The Sydney Symphony at the Sydney Opera House. What a great thrill as I’d always dreamed about performing there. The same tour included dates in Central America and South East Asia. My daughter Sydney turned 21 in Las Vegas and my family flew in from Australia to celebrate with us.

I have been involved in several new projects recently. Some of you have already discovered “Feed The World” and “The Long And Winding Road” available for download on Amazon.com and iTunes. Both songs were produced by Billy Sherwood, an old friend of ours. “The Long And Winding Road” is part of a Beatles tribute CD, “Abbey Rd". I have also been recording a CD in Nashville produced by Rob Rappaport for Better Angels recording company. I hope to finish it in September and I will keep you posted with the progress of the recordings.

I am in talks now with a company who is interested in distributing and promoting “Take Time” on a much larger scale than we have been able to do so far and I should have some news on that within a week or two. The “Take Time” Store has been closed temporarily for updates to the international shipping options. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have it open again soon. As some as of you have encountered, it is taking up to two months to receive your cds via the mail, so we are hoping to find a more expeditious way to ship internationally. Once again thank you all for supporting my CD. I DO appreciate it !”

It’s 8 in the morning here in Auckland, New Zealand. Just arrived after a 14 hour flight from Los Angeles !! Just had breakfast ( one of my favorites as a kid, baked beans on toast ) in the lounge waiting for our flight to Brisbane!! We fly to Brisbane, Australia in a couple of hours where we begin our concerts with symphonies in Sydney and Perth as well. I will send you a video note from one of the best tourist sights in Sydney, so stay tuned!

I arrived back from Utah this afternoon after working with Graham at his studio having completed vocals on Air Supply’s upcoming CD “Mumbo Jumbo”

It’s a very exciting project, full of great songs, some of which you have heard in concert and some fantastic new songs that I’m sure will appeal to all of you. It’s a very different recording for us, full of all the passion that we share for our music and the anticipation that comes with presenting it to you.

We hope to have it to you as soon as possible!

Tomorrow I leave for Pittsburgh where we spend the night before leaving for Brazil on Sunday. We will be there for nearly two weeks performing before returning to the United States for only a couple of days before leaving for an Australian tour on the 28th.

The next couple of months is going to be hectic for us, lots of travel, lots of concerts and of course we hope to see you all at our shows.

Some of you may remember Don Cromwell from his time as Air Supply’s bass player. Hope you’re enjoying his work on the “Take Time” CD

Here we are in Lincoln City in Oregon, on the ocean, a truly beautiful place. The weather is not so good, but even so, the waves crashing on the shore under grey windy skies is awesome. We played a concert last night at the Chinook Winds Casino here and after another concert tonight, we all head home for a few days before traveling to Las Vegas for our weekend at The Suncoast Hotel. After the show here last night Mike Zerbe our drummer, Russ Letizia our guitarist and Jeremy Cornwall our Front of House sound engineer ( played bass ), sat in with the house band and really sounded fantastic!

Our recent trip to Japan was great. Having played there for over twenty five years now, it is still a thrill to go back. It is a beautiful country with some of the nicest fans in the world.

Our year is gearing up fully now and we will be out of the country for many of our shows. Please check out our tour dates as we may be visiting YOUR country and we’d love to see you! I am jazzed about playing Australia especially, as it has been nine years since we were there last and also because it is my homeland and I will get the chance to see my family again. Incidentally, the picture of the house on my SNAPSHOTS page is the house where I spent the first seven years of my life
